Terms & Conditions

Payment
A deposit per person is required for each event at the time of booking (the amount will be specified on the publicised event information) Once the booking form and deposit have been received, your place will be confirmed. Full payment must be received two weeks prior to the start of the event.

Cancellation and Changes
If you have to cancel:
We reserve the right to make a cancellation charge to cover our losses, although we always try to avoid doing so. Wherever we are “out-of-pocket” we will have to retain these costs. We will be pleased to transfer your payment to a future event.

Notice of cancellation should be made in writing (or e-mail) and if we have to make a charge it will be on the scale shown below and effective from the date we receive the notice: Please remember that we will always try to refund if our finances allow it.

If we have to cance

We reserve the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances or if the numbers reached are insufficient to make it financially viable. If we do have to cancel we undertake to give you a minimum of seven days notice and a full refund. If we have to make a significant change to the event - such as venue or date change - we will inform you as soon as we know.

Field Trips
Some events will have field trips arranged and these will be included in the cost. However, to keep costs low, we may ask to share transport between participants using their own vehicles. under these circumstances we are happy to reimberse your fuel costs at £0.10 per mile.

Children
The course is open to anyone over the age of 16, but if you need to bring young children to the event, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can discuss it. Whilst we are happy to accommodate children, we would ask that guardians take responsibility and keep disruption during the event to a minimum…………………

Special Requirements
If you have any type of special requirement or disability then please make us aware of it at the time of booking. This will allow us to consider how to accommodate your requirements and to discuss it with you if necessary. It may not be possible, due to time and resource constraints, to provide special requirements if we are not informed in advance.

Insurance
We have basic public liability cover, but all course participants are asked to ensure their own personal safety at all times to ask if they feel they need any extra guidance or information.

Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse admission to our event if, on arrival, participation appears to be inappropriate. We also reserve the right to ask any visitor to leave if their behaviour is disruptive to the function of the event and the community or interferes with the rights or comfort of others.

Complaints and Feedback
If you have a problem during the event, please tell us at the time and give us the opportunity to rectify the situation if necessary. We welcome all kinds of feedback - obviously we like to hear when we have done well and, equally, we like to hear where we can improve.

Data Protection Act
We keep your contact details on our database which we will use to inform you periodically of future courses and events. We undertake never to pass this information on to any person or organisation other than those directly responsible for your event arrangements.

You are entitled to a copy of the information held by us and if you would like to see this, or have your contact details removed, please contact us.

The Small Print
All information included in any of our publicity and correspondence is correct at time of going to print, and is subject to change. Whilst every effort is made to provide the events as publicised, we do not accept liability for changes due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or for loss or damage to participants personal property.
